About Me

My approach is holistic, client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I primarily utilize a combination of Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but also draw from other modalities. This means that we’ll spend some time getting to know each other, what’s going on, developing trust, and then we’ll find an approach that works for you.

I have been involved in the recovery community for over 10 years. I received my BA in Sociology with honors from the UW in 2018. For my thesis I researched the relationship between binge drinking behavior and socioeconomic status after receiving treatment, and how that changes across macroeconomic epochs. I received my MSW from the UW in 2020 where I researched college students in recovery, worked in community mental health serving their highest needs population, and developed an interest in policy and equity work. These days when I’m not chasing my three young children, I’m hopefully out in nature enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
